Soraren, with Mangka Mayanglambam and Laihui
"Soraren" performed by Mangka Mayanglambam and members of Laihui, at Laihui Performance Space, Imphal. "Soraren" is an ancient song of Lai Haraoba which is now rarely sung, but perhaps it can be revived for Lai Haraoba again. This version was taught to me by Oja Khangembam Mangi, who had learned it from his childhood Lai Haraoba in the Lamshang area of West Imphal.
